Graham grinned, waiting for the applause to settle before dramatically placing a hand over his chest.

“Alright, alright,” he said, pretending to catch his breath.

“Let me sit down first because I simply cannot stand here and do an interview with such a powerful couple.”

The audience laughed, and you shook your head in amusement. Drew leaned back, his arm resting casually behind you on the couch, a smirk playing on his lips.

“So,” Graham continued, eyes twinkling mischievously.

“Not only are you both co-stars in your new movie, but also lovers off-screen. Is it true?���

The crowd went wild again.

Drew chuckled, shaking his head at the dramatic reaction.

“Yes,” he confirmed, his Southern drawl making the words sound even more charming.

“We are lovers off-screen.”

Graham leaned forward, clearly loving every second of it.

“Since you’ve already confirmed it on Instagram, let’s dive in a little. How did this all start? Y/N, do you want to take this one?”

“Sure,” you said with a smile.

“I actually met Drew through his sister, Brooke. I was in her friend group, and she invited me over to her new place once. That was the first time we met.”

Drew nodded.

“Yeah, Y/N was one of my sister’s friends, but after that, she kind of disappeared. We didn’t see each other again for a long time, maybe a year or so.”

“Ah, so was there an instant connection? Or did it take a little while to realize, ‘Oh, that’s the person I want to know more about’?”

Graham asked, clearly invested.

Drew turned to you with a teasing smirk.

“If we’re talking about our first meeting… I didn’t have feelings for her then.”

The audience gasped dramatically, and you burst into laughter.

“Hold on, hold on before you boo me!”

Drew added quickly, grinning.

“At the time, I was crushing on someone else. But when I met Y/N again later, it hit me hard. Like — why hadn’t I asked her out before? What was I doing?”

Graham gasped, clutching his chest for comedic effect.

“Scandalous!”

“I know, right?” you joked.

“Plot twist, I actually liked him from the very beginning.”

Drew’s head snapped toward you, eyes wide.

“Wait, what?”

Graham looked like he had just struck gold.

“Oh, this is juicy. Tell us more!”

You chuckled, shrugging.

“Yeah, I had feelings for him when we first met, but I knew he had a crush on someone else, so I just… kept quiet about it. I liked him so much that I couldn’t even date other guys.”

Graham covered his face, laughing so hard he had to lean back in his chair. The audience reacted with a mix of cheers and sympathetic awws.

“Wait, wait, wait… hold on,”

Drew said, pointing at you in shock.

“You never told me this!”

“I know,” you said, giggling.

“I guess I thought it was silly.”

“Silly?” Drew looked at Graham, then back at you.

“Babe, I feel like I need to apologize to past you.”

Graham wiped away imaginary tears.

“Oh, this is the kind of romantic drama I live for!”

Drew shook his head, smiling.

“I can’t believe you were out there suffering in silence while I was being an idiot.”

“It’s fine,” you teased. “You figured it out eventually.”

The audience burst into applause, and Graham clapped his hands together.

“Well, I think I speak for everyone when I say, thank goodness you did! Now, Drew, if given the chance, would you want to work on-screen with Y/N again?”

Drew didn’t hesitate.

“Oh, absolutely. She’s amazing; such a talented actress. I’d love to work with her again.”

You turned to him, surprised and touched by his words.

“Really?”

“Of course,” he said softly.

“I mean, I get to see how incredible you are off-screen, so getting to experience that on-screen again? That’d be a dream.”

The audience erupted into cheers again, and Graham dramatically fanned himself.

“Well, if you two ever do another movie together, let’s hope it’s a rom-com, because this kind of chemistry needs to be on display!”

Drew laughed, slipping his hand into yours.

“We’ll see what happens.”

Graham then leaned forward, eyes twinkling with curiosity.

“And Drew, since we’re on the topic, what has it been like dating Y/N? Fans are dying to know how you feel about it.”

Drew’s grip on your hand tightened slightly, and for a moment, he looked at you instead of Graham. The teasing smile softened into something more sincere.

“It’s honestly the best thing that’s ever happened to me,” he admitted.

The audience collectively sighed in adoration.

“I know that sounds dramatic, but it’s true. Y/N is just… she’s amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone who balances me out the way she does. She’s the most patient, kind, and ridiculously talented person I know.”

You felt your heart swell at his words, heat creeping up your cheeks.

Graham pretended to wipe away tears.

“Oh, this is too sweet. Keep going!”

Drew laughed but continued.

“She makes everything feel easier. My life gets pretty crazy, you know? Between filming, traveling, press there’s a lot going on. But with her, it’s like… I always have this anchor. Someone who keeps me grounded. And the best part? She never tries to change me. She just lets me be me.”

The audience let out a chorus of “Aww!” and you squeezed his hand, feeling overwhelmed by how openly he was speaking.

“Okay, this is getting too romantic for me,”

Graham joked, fanning himself.

“I feel like we’re intruding on a private moment!”

Drew chuckled, looking back at you with a grin.

“Well, you asked, man.”

Graham shook his head playfully.

“I did, and I’m so glad I did! You two are adorable.”

The interview wrapped up soon after, but that moment the way Drew looked at you, the way his words made your heart feel like it might burst, was already making waves across the internet. Fans were calling you the Hollywood couple of the year. And honestly? You didn’t mind one bit.

"Hey you guys." Billie says softly. It was yet another stationhead live. The comments rolled in, people saying all sorts. It was early in the morning, you were snuggled into bed and frankly neither of you could sleep, you had already gotten up once to go puke, and it was only a matter of time before you go and do so again. Every day at around this time you'd spew 3 times. It was horrible, but it was all for something so amazing in the long run. "Just wanted to come on here. Answer some questions."

They fly by as she tries to read them. "Where's Y/n? She's asleep, something I should probably be doing. But I couldn't." She laughs a bit. "It's fine, just couldn't sleep." She says as the comments ask what's wrong. But her attention moves towards you as you toss in the bed. She knew exactly what that meant as you begin to sit up, rushing into the bathroom. The door was heard being closed hastily. Causing Billie to get up and follow. "Be right back you guys." She opens the door right as you were hurling. Coughing in the process.

Since the room was so quiet aside from that, it picked up on her phone quite clearly. You groan in pain as Billie sighs. "I wish I could take this agony away from you." She says softly, crouching and moving some hair from your face. "One more to go this morning." You sigh defeated. "You never know it could just be two this morning?" She says trying to keep you from worrying. You hated puking so this was definitely something you had to get use to for awhile. "I find that unlikely." You say closing your eyes and leaning into her touch, as her hand moves to rest against your cheek. "I'll be ok, go talk to your fans baby." She shakes her head. "I'm here for you, and that's a promise I'm keeping."

You faintly smile at her. Standing and looking in the mirror. "Hey, I'm actually kinda showing now!" You beam, distracting yourself from the horrible events earlier. She smiles wide, going to put her hand on the little bump. "God I'm so excited." She says. You kiss her. "Me too." You both go back out. You get into bed while Billie goes back to her phone seeing the comments blowing up.

"Oh my god, Y/n is pregnant?"

"Is Y/n pregnant???"

That was practically all that was zooming past. Billie freezes for a moment, mouthing something to you. "They know." You giggle at her petrified face. "That's ok, we were going to tell them eventually." You whisper. "Right... Well yes, she is pregnant. Surprise!" Billie chuckles. Not much of a surprise seeing as they all overheard you two. "Everyone's congratulating you, well us but yeah." You smile. "Thank you everyone!" You say.

Not at all how you guys planned to tell the fans, but the previous plan was still in motion just in case no one else knew. Which would be fairly impossible considering her update fan pages. They were always one step ahead. But you decide to do the post you originally were going to do. Billie adds the two positive pregnancy tests on the bed when she's done with that live. Getting the few pieces of clothing already bought and popping that into frame. She snaps the photo adding a few baby emojis.

“First rounds on me tonight, boys,” Jake says when they’re in the locker room later that afternoon, egos all a little bruised. 

“See you there,” Billy claps Jake on the back with a grin as he walks out. 

Jake looks across the locker room and sees Rooster looking at his phone. Jake’ll show him that he's a team fucking player. He crosses the locker room and leans against Mickey’s locker, “You going to grace us with your presence tonight, Rooster?”

“Yeah, maybe,” Rooster doesn’t bother looking up at him when he speaks. Jake doesn’t roll his eyes, but god does he want to. 

“Great. Like I said, first round's on me,” Jake nods and makes eye contact with Javy, nodding toward the door. “See you later.”

“Look at you being the bigger man,” Javy says with a laugh when they’re on their way back to their room. Javy’s texting someone, probably one of the guys to see what time they’re all heading out. 

“Only so he can’t say I’m not a team player,” Jake admits. 

“Y’all need to fight or fuck or something,” Javy laughs and smiles at his phone. “The tension is getting a little out of control, Hangman.”

“Oh fuck off,” Jake shoves him. “What are we doing for dinner? If I have to eat shitty cafeteria steamed veggies again I’m going to lay down in front of the Zamboni and hope it takes me out.”

“Want to just eat at the Penalty Box?”

No, Jake really doesn’t want to do that, but chicken wings sound a hell of a lot better than what they’d had yesterday, so he agrees. Natasha and Callie are at the bar when they walk in twenty minutes later, sitting with Bob and the Ivies, so Jake and Javy pull up a couple chairs and join them. 

Jake has a good night, even if Bradshaw shows up not long after he and Javy did and ends up playing some shit on the piano that has half the bar fawning over him. Jake’s got better things to do that pay attention to Rooster, like taking Reuben’s money because the guy cannot win a game of darts to save his fucking life.

hope you don't mind @thevampireviolet but i wanted to rb again with your tags--also an extremely solid point. tbqh i think the tendency to suddenly focus on the quality of a work post scandal reveals a lot about us/how people think--like, why is it important to talk about this now rather than what the person did? not that people should stop, of course; but as you said, why are people suddenly so defensive of his works now? i see how my original post can come off as hypocritical in this regard but i think my sentiment more or less lines up with yours. i'm just tired of people deciding that the most important thing about persons in a scandal is the quality of work they create, either for the purpose of defending it or defaming it. like on some level; who cares? why are we tying that to what the person did?

wrt the "all of neil gaiman's books are actually stolen and he's lifted every single plot from some other, worthier writer": are we doing this because we actually believe that or are we doing this because we can't accept that bad people could ever make something beautiful or good or inspiring. we have Got to stop. we cannot retroactively sour grapes every single work of art created by every rapist, misogynist, cheater, and liar to exist. fucking stop equating beauty with goodness. austin jones has an incredible voice. austin jones is a horrific person. fucking hold it in your hands and look at it and be uncomfortable with it. beauty is not goodness. beauty is not goodness.

Well, yeah, it was a bit galling to go from what seemed to be a good-natured exchange to suddenly seeing that in the tags, especially since it seemed to suggest I was saying things that I really wasn't.

And like, I get it. We're all guilty of being a bit intense about all this fictional stuff on Tumblr dot com. And I'm not blameless: I think my response to your initial reblog came off rather snippy, so I can understand if that put you on the defensive. That wasn't my intention, so I'm sorry for that. I was genuinely curious - baffled, but curious. (Also sarcasm is kind of my default setting, and that can be hard to modulate online sometimes. :\) Maybe I should have left well enough alone, but it just happened that I'd been thinking/posting about Eönwë and Sauron, then I saw your post, and it made me go "???".

I think there's a disconnect here between how different people enjoy Sauron as a character. You're fascinated by the sympathetic traits he exhibits, whereas others - myself included - enjoy him precisely because he's a bastard. (I was posting about this the other day, actually - literally reading about one of his worst acts made him my favourite character!) And it can be frustrating to see people trying to gloss over these aspects of him, because it's removing what, to me, is one of the most fundamentally appealing things about the character.

But that doesn't mean that we don't see or acknowledge his good qualities, it's just that - speaking personally, anyway - they're vastly outweighed by the bad things he does. And to me, that gives him a fairly tragic dimension, the fact that he has all these admirable qualities and this capacity to do so much good, yet he ends up squandering it all in doing evil. And that juxtaposition between his good qualites and his evil deeds makes him even more compelling.

And from just a general show-watching standpoint, it can be quite frustrating to see these takes about how ROP should give him a redemption arc or whatever. Because that's not what the show is about. It's a prequel to an existing story: we already know the end, we know that Sauron is going to end up getting worse and become the Dark Lord in Barad-dûr, we're just following his journey to becoming that. If people are resistant to the idea of Sauron being redeemed, it's probably not because they believe that he's 100% no-nuance evil, but more because they know that that's simply not the story the writers have set out to tell. And yeah, it can get annoying to see people demanding that the showrunners throw out the actual LOTR story (which is what we're here for in the first place) just to cater to a small minority of fans.

But that doesn't mean you can't have fun in fandom playing with the idea. That's why we have AUs! Fandom is the space for going, "Okay, but what if he was redeemed?" I have ideas for stories about un-evil Mairon and Melkor in Almaren, or Mairon recovering in Valinor after accepting Eönwë's offer. It's a fun idea, and good to explore, but that's for fandom. It's emphatically not what the show itself is setting out to do, and getting the two mixed up is a recipe for disappointment.

So... yeah, that's my position. I hope it makes sense.

Also, Angbang is a wonderful ship, and I totally get the urge to yell about it at length. :) And I don't think you need to have a single unified view of it - again, that's the great thing about fandom, you can explore different options! I know, in general, I tend to write them having a more or less positive relationship - even monsters can love! - but Sauron's unhinged monologue in the show about their "contest of wills" had me giggling and kicking my feet. Both are good.

I found this scene in particular so odd and out of place in the new episode. Apart from the fact that Stolas has no right to be angry at Blitz for "not saving him" when Striker kidnapped him nor to be upset that he didn't tell him about Striker's attempt at shooting him. In Loo Loo Land he's perfectly capable of defending himself (even when he hired Blitz for protection!), why is he complaining that an imp, the lowest class on the hierarchy isn't protecting one of the highest?

In that scene Stolas accuses Blitz of not understanding "how much he cared about him", but has he forgotten that he was the one who couldn't stand up not to Asmodeous nor to the accusations of him "sleeping with an imp"?

This reaction shows the actual opposite of what he's telling Blitz he did.

I read that Stolas is supposedly also not aware of ~things~ but why is the narrative conveniently forgetting about his faults as well?

Onto the "apology tour" subject: I fail to understand why Blitz owes Stolas an apology. The only time he was shitty to him was actually in Ozzie's when he asked him on a (fake) date without telling him all the story. But they didn't talk about that not during that episode neither during Apology Tour. Is it because doing this would have forced the narrative to acknowledge that also Stolas was at fault during that episode?

All the other times they interacted (on and off screen, their chats don't really mean anything since it seems that's the way Blitz writes in general), Blitz was being good to him (not that he had any other choice, due to their society ranks and their deal).

To me, this looks like bad writing. But if someone has a different take, I'm happy to hear their interpretation.

This one is special because I really like this concept and I wish to finish it one day I mean look how fun this is. it's some concepts for manga/comic covers I just think it would have been super cool if this was a serialized comic and or manga series, and these could be the covers of 2 back-to-back volumes later into the story, representing their unique holds on each other. Of course it's all symbolism cough cough but reading into it such as the way their expressions changed as they're holding the other person's SEVERED HEAD- might be fun too!
